Experiment 1 - Growing plants from cuttings.

• Small cuttings were made from the tomatoes grown from seed
• These cuttings were placed in 10 pots in the second growing chamber of the small system
• The nutrient solution was set for "vegitative growth"
• The nutrient solution level was set to maximum in this growing chamber
• During the first week only one plant showed any signe of distress (slight wilting), but quickly recovered
• After one week roots could be seen growing from all these cutting pots and the cuttings were adding healthy new growth.
